This full-time role is key to maintaining smooth day-to-day financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely payments.Highlights about this opportunity:Working with a mission-driven organizationSupportive, team-oriented culture with strong institutional valuesWork-life balance with hybrid work scheduleExposure to process improvement and system optimizationResponsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist include but are not limited to:Process vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and purchase order paymentsReview, match, and code invoices accuratelyPrepare weekly check and ACH payment runsResolve vendor or departmental discrepanciesReconcile vendor statements and assist with month-end closeSupport audit requests and help streamline AP processesQualification requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred2+ years of AP or general accounting experienceStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service orientationProficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systemsExperience with Workday Financials or similar ERP preferred, prior higher-education or nonprofit experience a plusSalary Range: $55,000 – 65,000
