Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory tests—ranging from chemistry and hematology to immunology and beyond—following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results to ensure accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and conduct preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples efficiently for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new hires or students, and help maintain exceptional lab quality standards.
• Keep a safe and organized work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field combined with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), which must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your current certification throughout your employment.
