Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in LOS ANGELES, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a financial institution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while working with agility, reliability, and integrity in a caring, team-driven environment that values innovation and people first.

Pay Rate: $19.25 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting access control activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry points, observe daily operations, and document incidents, observations, and/or policy-related issues in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
