Position Overview Job Title: Executive Assistant Company: 1122 Management Reports To: Thomas Glasgow, Owner Location: Columbia, SC Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Flexible, based on candidate) 1122 Marketing is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Executive Assistant to support the owner, Thomas Glasgow, with a mix of clerical, administrative, financial, and calendaring tasks. This role is critical to keeping day-to-day operations organized, efficient, and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, comfortable handling sensitive information, and able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Thomas Glasgow is a family man who owns multiple businesses. He is direct, fair, and to the point. He’s originally from the midatlantic and made Columbia, SC, home after starting his marketing career in the music industry. Years later, Thomas saw an opportunity while working in house for a law firm to create the agency he wanted to hire. He created and runs 1122 Marketing with attention to detail, and believes in hiring people who understand businesses’ bottom lines versus vanity metrics. In his free time, he is an active long distance runner, spends time with his family and friends, and travels. Working with Thomas means functioning independently, but having guidance and support to execute effectively. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Clerical Support Manage email inboxes, correspondence, and document organization Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and basic presentations as needed Maintain digital filing systems and ensure accurate recordkeeping Assist with data entry and general administrative tasks Accounts Receivable Track and manage accounts receivable Send invoices and follow up on outstanding payments Maintain accurate financial records related to incoming payments Communicate professionally with clients regarding billing questions Calendaring & Scheduling Manage and maintain the owner’s calendar Schedule meetings, calls, and appointments Send reminders and ensure schedule alignment with priorities Coordinate across time zones when necessary Qualifications Proven experience as a Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication Comfortable handling financial data and confidential information Proficiency with Google Workspace, scheduling tools such as Calendly, invoicing software such as Freshbooks Ability to work independently and anticipate needs What Success Looks Like in This Role Thomas’ schedule is organized and predictable, allowing Thomas to work on the business instead of in it Invoices are sent on time and AR is consistently tracked Administrative tasks are handled proactively without constant direction Marketing support tasks are executed reliably and on schedule Compensation + Benefits Salary: $60,000.00/year and commensurate with experience.
