Staff Accountant

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the month-end close process Reconcile various accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, intercompany accounts, fixed assets and other journals Prepare journal entries as required Prepare monthly bank reconciliations Assist with verification of general ledger postings Assist with monthly compilation of financial statements Prepare necessary schedule required for annual audit

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is strongly preferred ERP experience required Strong Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas at a minimum) Ability to be onsite in Raleigh office at least 2-3 days each week Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
