MLR is excited to welcome a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our client's dedicated Labor and Delivery team. Located in a dynamic community, this role is focused on providing exceptional care to expectant mothers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for mother and newborn alike.

Registered Nurse Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients closely throughout labor and delivery, tracking vital signs and fetal heart rates for optimal safety.
• Deliver direct patient care, including medication administration, assisting with deliveries, and managing pain relief.
• Educate patients and families on the labor and delivery process, options, and essential postpartum care.
• Collaborate effectively with obstetricians, midwives, and the entire healthcare team to facilitate a seamless birth experience.
• Accurately document patient information through all labor and delivery stages.
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any emergencies or complications following established protocols.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control guidelines and hospital standards.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse:

• Active New Mexico RN license (required).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
• Strong clinical expertise with an ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
