Key Account Manager

We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America. Compensation for this role is $60,000. The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set. What Your Day‑to‑Day Will Look Like Serve as an advocate and liaison for RXO’s top clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction Expand current customer accounts through ongoing relationship development Collaborate with team members to secure the terms of sale, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers, procuring specialized equipment, etc. Maintain a strong understanding of the industry and client needs; cultivate a core book of business for consistent and repeatable sales Ensure the integrity of the shipment and the RXO brand by following standard processes and procedures Update internal tracking and reporting systems throughout the day to maintain accuracy in sales and volume metrics Monitor and ensure accurate billing; strive to ensure mutually beneficial business operations At a Minimum, You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience 1 year of professional experience It’d Be Great If You Also Have 5 years of experience in a transportation sales environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Our Benefits Competitive pay Paid time off: up to 8 holidays, up to 2 floating Diversity Days; hourly: up to 13 days PTO; salary: up to 15 days PTO; up to 40 hours bereavement leave; up to 16 hours volunteer time; jury duty; at least 2 weeks family bonding leave; up to 40 hours prenatal care leave 401(k) retirement plan with up to 5% company match Insurance: health, prescription, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life, short and long‑term disability, accidental death and personal loss, business travel, legal services, ID theft, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance Tax‑Advantaged Accounts: Health Savings Account, Health Care Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Commuter Spending Account Health Reimbursement Arrangement Our Culture Our values are the key to our unique culture and our ability to deliver for everyone we serve.
