Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our onsite Rehabilitation Center, you will work in a conducive and well-equipped environment designed to promote healing and rehabilitation. Your work week will be structured from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you the opportunity to balance your professional and personal life effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions through detailed assessments, observations, and discussions of their medical histories and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that take into account each patient's specific needs, goals, and progress, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Track patient progress meticulously, modifying treatment interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and celebrating significant milestones with your patients.
• Educate patients and their families on managing conditions, guiding them on exercises and wellness techniques to implement at home, thereby empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborative efforts with other healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance overall patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on adult and elderly patients recovering from surgical procedures, managing chronic pain, and addressing conditions such as arthritis, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. By establishing a rapport with patients, you will be instrumental in motivating them throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring that they feel valued and understood during their treatment process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Strong foundational knowledge in human physiology, anatomy, and principles of rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.

Preferred Experience

• While not required, experience in pediatrics or acute care settings will be beneficial and is highly regarded.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in a physical therapy setting is preferred, especially within a rehabilitation environment.

Compensation and Benefits
