Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations for patients presenting with a variety of orthopedic conditions, determining their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment protocols based on patient assessments that address their unique recovery goals and monitor their progress over time.
• Utilize evidence-based practices, including manual therapy techniques (joint mobilization, myofascial release, and soft tissue manipulation), to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Establish measurable, outcome-driven objectives to monitor and evaluate patients' progress effectively throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date documentation in adherence to clinic policies and regulatory standards, ensuring clear communication within the multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in continued professional development activities to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families on rehabilitation exercises, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to enhance overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will be working with encompass a wide range of orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your role will involve providing compassionate and effective care that addresses physical impairments while also considering each patient's emotional and psychological well-being during their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Current California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, although new graduates with relevant clinical rotations in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
• Proven proficiency in therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and functional movement assessments, to support optimal patient outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills to foster strong patient relationships and facilitate better understanding of treatment protocols.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, candidates with strong clinical rotation experience in orthopedic settings will also be considered.
