Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and skillful Physical Therapist to join our team at Gotham Enterprises Ltd's Rehabilitation Center in Menifee, California. Work Environment

The work setting is onsite at our fully equipped Rehabilitation Center, where you will be part of a close-knit team consisting of two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). The center provides modern amenities and treatment areas designed to facilitate a variety of therapeutic interventions, enabling you to deliver personalized care that meets each patient's unique needs. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical conditions and accurately identify their therapy goals and needs.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for focused, quality care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement effective care plans using a range of treatment techniques.
• Design custom wellness and fitness programs tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Encourage positive lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effects and patient progress, ensuring open communication throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Document patient care services and treatment plans to provide comprehensive records of care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive treatment strategy that optimizes patient outcomes.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment to help them surpass their functional goals.
• Focus on reducing reliance on medications by exploring non-surgical options whenever applicable.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Rehabilitation Center primarily serves patients referred for orthopedic outpatient care, which includes those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. The diverse patient population ranges from athletes to seniors, all seeking personalized physical therapy interventions aimed at functional recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid and active Physical Therapist license in California is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient practice.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based exercise programming.
• Skilled in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software such as WebPT.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and rapport with patients.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience in an orthopedic setting is required, candidates with additional specializations or advanced certifications in particular therapeutic modalities will be preferred. Experience working in a sports medicine environment is also advantageous, as it emphasizes our practice's focus on performance enhancement and injury prevention.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
