This position allows for a remote work setting, offering flexibility and convenience for our counselors. You will be part of an outpatient office environment, collaborating with a team of primary care providers and mental health professionals from the comfort of your home. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough patient intakes involving diagnostic and functional evaluations, then collaborate with primary care providers to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide brief, focused interventions for patients experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring that services align with the guidelines set out by the Agency and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).
\n
• Assess and monitor patients' needs, providing necessary follow-ups to adapt treatment approaches based on their progress.
\n
• Identify “at-risk” patients and develop proactive strategies to enhance their mental well-being.
\n
• Document treatment progress and diagnoses in patients’ charts, ensuring accurate record-keeping that informs ongoing care.
\n
• Serve as a vital resource for the primary care team, advising on patient mental health needs and guiding referrals to specialty services when necessary.
\n
• Facilitate educational workshops aimed at equipping patients with self-management skills and knowledge about their mental health.
\n
• Collaborate with clinic management to evaluate and improve behavioral health services and outcomes.
\n
• Adhere to the established Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals throughout all interactions.

• Complete other duties as assigned that contribute to the smooth operation and success of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your role as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mountain Springs, you will primarily serve adults and families facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and transitional life challenges. Our approach emphasizes confidentiality and respect for each individual’s unique circumstances, focusing on fostering resilience and recovery through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.

• Current and valid LPC license to practice in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, treatment planning, and therapeutic techniques, particularly those suitable for diverse populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Understanding of community resources and referral processes that can enhance patient support.
\n
• Proficient in maintaining clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable but not essential.

• A background in collaborating within primary care settings is a plus.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family therapy, or group counseling will be advantageous.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document treatment plans and patient interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 87,000 to USD 105,000, commensurate with experience. We are also pleased to offer a SIGN-ON BONUS as an incentive for joining our dedicated team.
