Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney (California, Remote)

Location Remote within California Salary $250K/year + benefits & bonuses Role Summary This is a full-time remote position for experienced workers’ compensation defense attorneys. The attorney will handle a full caseload from intake to resolution and provide high-quality legal representation for clients in workers’ compensation defense matters throughout California. Key Responsibilities Manage workers’ compensation defense cases independently, from case inception through resolution, including complex, high-exposure matters. Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mandatory settlement conferences, status conferences, and trials (when necessary). Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, settlement documents, and other legal work product. Meet client service standards for case management and communication. Experience & Qualifications Active license to practice law in California. Minimum 3+ years of experience in workers’ compensation defense (defense side experience required). Strong litigation and case management skills. Work Model Primarily remote work across California. Occasional court appearances and rare visits to assigned office locations may be required.
