This position will be conducted in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you to engage with clients across Bakersfield, California and surrounding areas. You will have the flexibility of a Monday to Friday schedule, typically operating between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with occasional evening hours based on client needs. Our advanced telehealth platform ensures that you have access to necessary tools and resources to provide effective counseling and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to evaluate and understand the unique needs of each child and adolescent.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages and family dynamics of your clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and family therapy, to address a spectrum of mental health issues.

• Work in close collaboration with child psychiatrists and additional healthcare professionals to derive cohesive treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring immediate support for clients facing mental health emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatment options, and local community resources.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation to comply with legal and ethical standards of practice.

• Actively participate in team meetings and professional development activities to continually enhance your expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. This role requires a strong understanding of the unique emotional and psychological needs of young individuals, as you will interact closely with both clients and their families, emphasizing child-centered therapy approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a valid and current license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Strong foundational knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and applicable treatment modalities.

• Proven experience providing individual and family therapy for children and adolescents.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach centered around the needs of children and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a sign-on bonus to incoming therapists.
