Growing together.The Implementation Project Manager serves as a liaison between clients, client management, and OptumRx during the implementation phase. To support the organization's strategic direction and growth in the PBM industry by applying a clearly defined project management approach to all client implementations.You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary Responsibilities:Primary contact for new or existing client projects varying in size, complexity, and durationBe able to handle multiple client implementations concurrentlyProvide input on OptumRx capabilities to meet client requirementsDevelop and maintain the project plan throughout the implementation phaseSet and manage client expectationsLead and facilitate all project meetings both internally and externallyObtain and secure all necessary client approvals prior to the project effective dateIdentify and document any changes to the scope of the projectDeliver on-going communication of project statusExecute proper escalation of issues when applicableParticipant in client visits as necessaryConduct project close-out activity as necessaryActively participant in lessons learned after the implementation has been completedReview implementation process to identify opportunities for improvementNo supervision or direct reports - project team members are assigned to each client implementation by their department manager.Attend Finalist Presentation to support the SalesPerform any additional duties as assignedAdhere to all OptumRx policies and proceduresYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:2+ years of experience in the PBM, health care, or pharmacy industry2+ Implementation or large healthcare project management experienceSolid experience in influencing internally and externally with soft power, driving cross - functional collaboration, and negotiating win - win solutionsProven independent contributors with the ability to multi-task, work with leaders and ensure client satisfactionProven excellent written, oral, and active listening communication skills. Demonstrated ability to message, position, and present information for maximum customer impact and influenceProven ability to ascertain client needs through active listening skills, and consultatively work with clients to achieve business objectivesProven effective skills for navigating and driving results across operations, network, and clinical domains in a highly complex, matrix environmentWilling to work through year-end holiday season (Christmas week/NYE/New Year's Day) as necessary to address client go-live issues and support cross-functional teamsWilling or ability to travel up to 25%Preferred Qualifications:Experience with PBM ImplementationOptumRx operations, account management or Project Management experiencePay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment.
