Minimum and Additional Requirements
A High School Diploma and three (3) years of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business. An Associate Degree and one (1) year of experience in clerical, administrative, social work, correctional, business administration, or general business. A Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for the required program experience.

Job Duties:
- The ES Eligibility Specialist (CNTY) performs general work duties related to the administration of the SNAP and TANF programs in the Economic Services Division in the Kershaw County office to help restore or improve customer financial stability.
- Conducts a minimum of 15 quality interviews per day to include both phone and face-to-face interviews as required and process at least 50% of cases as assigned by supervisor. Ability to manage time and work under required deadlines, prioritize tasks and focus under high levels of activity in the workstation area, verbally communicate by phone and face to face contact.
- Maintains electronic case files (in agency designated system) accurately and timely for documentation and auditing purposes; safeguards confidentiality of files and
information in files. Able to type and independently operate agency computers and phone equipment.
- Identifies and documents over-payments and makes at least 3 possible claims referrals to the Benefit Integrity Unit; prepares supporting documents for Fair Hearings
and attends hearings as directed.
- Provides services in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations and agency policies and procedures.
- Participates in training and supervisory meetings or staffing as required.
- Ensures personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared, and disposed. Prevents the agency networks and applications by
safeguarding systems, equipment, and data.
- Maintains and keep current your work time, annual leave and sick leave on SCEIS.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
