Provider Duties Serves in the role of primary care provider to long‑ and short‑term residents, including patient assessment, physical examinations, and review of medical histories. Teams with medical attendings/physicians and nursing home staff to deliver the highest standard of care. Builds relationships with residents and families, educates them, and formulates evidence‑based care plans that align with patients’ needs and desires. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements, including monitoring legislation and advising management as needed. Maintains professional and technical knowledge through workshops, professional publications, and participation in societies. Promotes a safe and clean working environment by adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations, and upholding core organizational values of respect, professionalism, and cultural competency. Reviews and ensures charting, documentation, and administration of care are up to date and performed timely and efficiently. Requirements Health Promotion and Maintenance Thoroughness Clinical Skills Informing Others Medical Teamwork Bedside Manner Infection Control Administering Medication Pain Management Self‑Development Board Certified Extensive training will be offered.
