Your work here really matters and has real impact.Responsibilities Arranges budget related training and develops budget toolsReviewed and provided input for guidance and other communications directed towards IC budget offices.Led the financial management activities, including formulation, presentation, justification, and execution throughout the budget cycleProvided timely financial and managerial advice to the Center’s leadership team.Develops budget strategies and allocation recommendations for the Budget OfficerOrganize and analyze data sets and information using database tools and spreadsheets.Conduct research and make oral presentations for leadership.Working under general supervision; typically reporting to a supervisor or manager.Job RequirementsA bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline such as Public Administration, Finance or Accounting is preferred.4-6 years of professional experience in an accounting or finance environment.Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize in high-pressure situations while paying close attention to detail.Must be able to learn quickly and work under tight deadlines throughout peak seasons.Must be process driven and methodical.Should possess exceptional oral and written communication skills.Must have the ability to initiate and complete duties with limited supervision while exercising professionalism, tact, and discretion when dealing with confidential information.Computer literacy and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite is essential, strong MS Excel skills desirable.Applicants selected will be subject to a Public Trust Background Security Investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.
