Bookkeeper

Part-Time Bookkeeper (On-Site)

Emerging biotechnology focused on bio sample collection technologies. Our products are being recognized by leading organizations in the pharmaceutical, diagnostics, academic, and government sectors. We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Part-Time Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting tasks and support the financial health of our business. The Part-Time Full-Charge Bookkeeper will handle all aspects of accounting, from entering transactions to producing financial reports. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in bookkeeping who is looking to grow their skills in a hands-on, supportive environment. This position will start as a temp but could possibly transition into a full time position depending on employee performance and company growth.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update general ledger using QuickBooks
• Perform daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Manage invoicing, bill payments, and collections
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed
• Prepare materials for tax filings and work with external Controller

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–3 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Prior experience in start-up companies of medical technology, biotech or diagnostics company a plus
• Experienced in the Microsoft Office Suite; Windows PC environment
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $28.00 - $30.00 Per Hour
