Job Description Job Description Firm Description: RLGC Law Group, PLLC ("RLGC") is a well-established and growing law firm with offices located in Latham, Saratoga Springs and Oneonta. RLGC’s services cover, among other areas of law, Trusts & Estates, Creditor Rights, Elder Law, Real Estate and Business Law. Position Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented real estate paralegal. As part of the real estate team, you will be handling all aspects of real estate transactions, from initial contract through closing. Responsibilities: Assessing and preparing contracts, calendaring deadlines, and managing the file through and after closing. Facilitating communication with clients, real estate agents and other law offices. Conducting occasional research and distributing real estate documents. Analyzing title documents and legal descriptions of property, when necessary. Answering client questions and escalating serious concerns. Preparing and submitting accurate legal documents in a timely manner. Qualifications: Associate's degree in paralegal studies, or similar, preferred. A minimum of 2 years' experience as a real estate paralegal. Extensive knowledge of real estate documents. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel Superb organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Attention to detail.
