Operations Manager

Harrison Wealth Management Group is an independent wealth management practice in Dayton, Ohio, serving approximately 1,000 client relationships and overseeing approximately $600 million in assets under management. Position Summary

The Director of Operations serves as the operational leader of the practice.

This person is responsible for ensuring that workflows are executed, tasks are completed, team members remain accountable, and clients receive a consistent service experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and thrives on creating structure, accountability, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

Workflow & Task Management

• Oversee all operational workflows
• Ensure client service tasks are properly assigned
• Track completion of tasks within CRM
• Follow up on outstanding action items

Team Coordination

• Coordinate activities across advisors and operations staff
• Monitor workload distribution
• Assist with resource allocation and capacity planning
• Conduct regular workflow reviews

Client Service Oversight

• Ensure service requests are completed promptly
• Maintain service standards
• Improve response times and consistency
• Monitor client experience metrics

Process Improvement

• Document and maintain standard operating procedures
• Identify workflow inefficiencies
• Improve operational scalability
• Assist with technology implementation and process automation

Practice Management

• Vendor coordination
• Office operations
• Project management
• Team meeting coordination
• Hiring and onboarding support

Phone & Service Coverage Oversight

• Ensure incoming calls are handled appropriately
• Develop and maintain client communication protocols
• Create systems that allow advisors to remain focused on client-facing work

Qualifications

Preferred

• Operations leadership experience
• Wealth management or other financial services experience strongly preferred
• CRM and workflow management experience
• Project management experience
