The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items while maintaining food safety, consistency, cleanliness, and operational excellence. This position supports breakfast, dinner, the restaurant, rooftop lounge, bar, banquets, and special events.

Guest Service Expectations

• Prepare every dish with pride and attention to detail.

• Maintain urgency without sacrificing quality.

• Support teammates during busy service periods.

• Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.

• Help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.

$21 - $24 hourly

• Prepare menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards.

• Set up and stock assigned stations before each shift.

• Maintain food quality, consistency, and proper portion control.

• Follow HACCP, FIFO, temperature logging, labeling, and sanitation procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.

• Communicate effectively with culinary and service teams during service.

• Support breakfast, dinner, rooftop, banquet, and catering operations.

• Monitor food quality and immediately report shortages or quality concerns.

• Minimize waste through proper handling and portion control.

• Receive deliveries and organize kitchen storage when needed.

• Complete opening, closing, and daily cleaning checklists.

• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely.

• Follow ARK Hospitality standards, Cambria brand standards, and local health regulations.

• Participate in training and cross-training opportunities.

• Previous hotel or restaurant culinary experience preferred.

• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and commercial kitchen equipment.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.

• Lift up to 50 pounds.

• Frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and carry.

• Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment.
