Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, motivated, and people-focused individual to join our Chick-fil-A leadership team as our Talent & Operations Manager!

This position combines administrative management, hiring, team member development, employee engagement, and hands-on restaurant leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring our restaurant operates efficiently while creating a positive environment where team members can grow and succeed.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, demonstrates strong organizational and leadership skills, and is willing to step into any area of the restaurant to support the team and the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly administrative responsibilities, including employee time punch reviews, attendance records, payroll-related documentation, and financial procedures.
• Assist with cash management, deposits, inventory counts, ordering, and other operational tasks.
• Maintain accurate employee records, disciplinary write-ups, performance documentation, and other required paperwork.
• Support scheduling, labor management, reporting, and overall restaurant organization.

Hiring, Onboarding & People Development

• Oversee hiring, interviews, onboarding, and new team member training.
• Manage employee performance, corrective actions, and separation processes in coordination with restaurant leadership.
• Develop strategies to improve team engagement, recognition, morale, and retention.
• Identify and develop future leaders through coaching, feedback, performance evaluations, and development plans.
• Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture.

Restaurant Operations & Shift Leadership

• Work hands-on in BOTH Front of House and Back of House based on business needs.
• Lead shifts as assigned, ensuring excellent guest service, food quality, efficiency, and team accountability.
• Train, coach, and develop team members across all areas of the restaurant.
• Support daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.

This position may require up to approximately 25 hours per week working directly in restaurant operations, including working on the line and leading shifts.

Catering & Business Development

• Assist with preparing, coordinating, and delivering catering orders.
• Build positive relationships with catering guests, local businesses, and community partners.
• Identify opportunities to grow catering sales through guest service and relationship development.

• Willingness to work in both Front of House and Back of House as needed.
• Previous restaurant leadership, administrative, or people management experience preferred.
• Ability to complete catering deliveries as assigned, including meeting applicable driving requirements.

Scheduling & Availability

Typical Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM

This position will generally follow a 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM schedule, with adjustments made weekly based on restaurant and business needs.

• Saturday Availability REQUIRED: Must be available to work Saturdays as needed.
• Opening & Closing Flexibility REQUIRED: Must be willing and available to occasionally work opening or closing shifts when necessary.
• Front of House & Back of House Flexibility REQUIRED: Must be willing and able to work in BOTH areas of the restaurant. Assignments will be determined by business needs rather than individual preference.
• Hands-On Leadership REQUIRED: This is not a strictly administrative position. The Talent & Operations Manager must be willing to work directly in restaurant operations and lead shifts as needed, potentially up to approximately 25 hours per week.
