Solid Tumor Oncology Faculty

Assistant / Associate / Full Professor – Medical Oncology University of California, San Francisco – Department of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology. Scope of Role Primary responsibility: provide outstanding patient care, seeing patients 6 half‑days per week in outpatient clinics at the Mission Bay campus of UCSF. The role has no inpatient responsibilities. Candidates should have a commitment to patient care, a track record of clinical excellence, and experience in the treatment and management of solid tumors (general oncology or within a subspecialty). They will work closely with colleagues in other cancer subspecialties, attend multidisciplinary tumor board conferences, and supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows during their outpatient clinical rotations. Candidates are expected to contribute to the clinical research program of the Heme/Onc Division by enrolling patients in ongoing clinical trials. Serving as a Principal Investigator or developing their own research projects is encouraged but not mandatory. Qualifications MD or DO degree and ABIM certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology. Appointment will be made in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series at a rank compatible with the candidate’s qualifications. Compensation Salary range of $127,000–$333,700, commensurate with experience. Compensation is supplemented above academic norms and includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, providing eligibility for additional compensation.
