Assistant Restaurant Manager

Compensation Details Hourly: $19.32 - $21.46. Commission potential: $0.50 to $10.00 per Membership sold, $0.15 to $3.00 per Fun Pass sold (Exempt); $2.00 to $8.00 per Membership sold, $0.60 to $2.40 per Fun Pass sold (Non‑Exempt). Paid bi‑weekly. Job Description Assistant Manager at Chuck E Cheese will lead a team to ensure every guest leaves happy. High‑energy, high‑reward operation. Job Responsibilities Make daily decisions on time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness and guest service standards. Build sales and maximize profits by recruiting, training, developing and motivating the team to meet company and guest expectations. Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service and maintain a safe, clean environment. Understand cost control procedures, inventory, financials and labor management. Take ownership of an Area of Impact (AOI) in one of four areas and rotate through all over time. Kitchen: manage product ordering, food safety, scheduling and cleanliness; oversee pizza dough preparation from scratch; cook pizza and other menu items. Sales: oversee cashier, salad bar and gift shop; monitor sales results, upsell programs, inventory, ordering, execution and profitability management of merchandise; ensure quality of salad bar and prep procedures. Showroom: lead birthday party execution and planning; maximize party bookings and guest satisfaction while optimizing showroom seating. Gameroom: partner with Technical Manager to keep games and equipment in top condition with minimal downtime; analyze gameplay data and ticket payouts; keep gameroom and surrounding areas clean and guest‑ready. Minimum Qualifications Must work 40 hours per week. Must have a high‑school diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years old (or age permitted for alcohol related duties, subject to RVP approval). Minimum of one year managing people, preferably in food service, or at least six months as an Opening Coordinator. Essential Job Functions and Work Environment Lift or carry objects weighing 0–50 pounds during shift. Stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during shift. Work environment includes flashing/flickering lights, moving mechanical parts, loud noise, exposure to wet/humid, extreme heat and cold.
