Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care

Schedule
Night shift: 6 on, 8 off, 1800-0630

Assignment Details
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements
- Current Oregon RT License
- Current RRT
- Certifications: PALS, NRP, BLS, ACLS (all required)
- CRASE training preferred

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide care and treatment for patients with respiratory and cardiac illnesses.
- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical and mental status.
- Monitor patients on ventilatory support and respond to any cardiopulmonary symptoms.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team, demonstrating problem-solving abilities.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and integrate them into system design for patient safety.
- Participate in continuing education and training as required for compliance with relevant programs.

Compliance / Notes
- Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated.
- Follow all applicable safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
