Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Care
Night shift: 6 on, 8 off, 1800-0630
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Contract Length: 13 weeks
Current Oregon RT License Current RRT Certifications: PALS, NRP, BLS, ACLS (all required) CRASE training preferred
Provide care and treatment for patients with respiratory and cardiac illnesses. Perform comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical and mental status. Monitor patients on ventilatory support and respond to any cardiopulmonary symptoms. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team, demonstrating problem-solving abilities. Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and integrate them into system design for patient safety. Participate in continuing education and training as required for compliance with relevant programs.
Agency nurses will be floated to other departments where qualified before core staff is floated. Follow all applicable safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
