Oracle Database Engineer As an Oracle Database Engineer, you will design and deliver end‑to‑end geospatial database solutions in a fast, agile environment. You will develop systems from vision to production, ensuring high availability, performance, and data integrity. Qualifications You Have: 5+ years of software experience with a cloud‑first development approach 4+ years of enterprise data engineering development, including geospatial data 3+ years of experience with OCI services and cloud‑native architecture patterns (Compute, Autonomous Database, Exadata, security policies, network security) 3+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation) Experience with ETL/ELT pipeline development using OCI services Experience with data lakes, data warehousing, and analytics platforms Experience developing and deploying production geospatial solutions from concept to O&M Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation Experience with data migration from AWS to OCI and OCI AI offerings Experience with database administration and optimization, including PostgreSQL with geospatial workloads Experience designing and optimizing spatial database schemas and indexing strategies, and complex geospatial queries at scale Experience leading technical initiatives in large‑scale environments Experience with system design, scalability, and reliability Experience developing dashboards and monitoring systems for streaming services OCI or other professional certifications (OCI Architect, OCI Developer, Security+, CISSP) IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ or CISSP Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). Full‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible for the full benefits package. Identity Verification & AI Policy During the hiring process you will complete an identity verification procedure using biometrics and AI. Work Model Remote: May require occasional in‑person work at a Booz Allen or customer facility. Hybrid: Expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently; may also need to visit a customer facility. Onsite: Primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
