Millennia Counseling and Treatment Centre is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated team in San Antonio, Texas. This full-time, remote role offers the unique opportunity to help clients regain independence and improve their quality of life through tailored counseling and rehabilitation services. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and have the support of the Assistant Director to guide you in delivering effective care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Meet regularly with clients to discuss their personal goals, preferences, and available options, fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding.

• Design individualized rehabilitation plans that consider each client's unique education level, physical capabilities, and professional aspirations, routinely modifying them as clients progress.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to create and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs that address specific client needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, ensuring thorough documentation of personal information, eligibility criteria, insurance details, and all interactions concerning client care.

• Regularly monitor client progress toward goals, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure successful outcomes and enhance client empowerment.
\n
• Provide ongoing support to clients in job training, occupational placement programs, and other on-site resources, actively resolving challenges as they arise.
\n
• Engage with clients' families to identify additional support mechanisms and ensure a holistic approach to care.
\n
• Conduct timely assessments of client needs and prepare comprehensive reports, making appropriate recommendations and referrals to other resources as required.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy is required.

• A valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure is mandatory.
