Hourly Pay Rate: $17.50 and up DOE

Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

JOB SUMMARY

The Order Processor I position is responsible for entering orders into one or more production systems and for meeting individual productivity and quality targets.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares orders for entry into one or more production systems. Identifies correct production system.
• Researches and assigns product codes bill codes special program codes start number special requirements etc.
• Enters orders into one or more production systems using Single Key and/or Double Key methods.
• Corrects and releases hold for edit orders. Meets productivity and quality targets.
• Trains other Order Processor employees; both new hires and existing employees.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

• Technical and computer knowledge
• Data entry experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Typing accuracy of 99%+
• Typing speed of 50+ WPM
• Ability to spot errors and discrepancies in orders to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Skills in managing time effectively to meet productivity targets while maintaining quality.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise during the order entry process.
• Capability to handle multiple orders and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.
• Ability to adjust to new systems, processes, or changes in order requirements.
• A focus on meeting customer needs and resolving any order-related inquiries.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment to achieve common goals.

COMMUNICATION AND CONTACTS

The OA Processor interacts with other employees within the work unit.

DECISION MAKING

Ability to use OA tools to make fact-based decisions on order information received from customers.
