We are a growing, fee-for-service periodontal and implant practice in Chevy Chase seeking an exceptional Treatment Coordinator to join our team.

This is a key position within our practice. We are looking for someone who is confident, polished, highly organized, and genuinely enjoys building relationships with patients. Our Treatment Coordinator guides patients from their initial consultation through treatment acceptance, financial arrangements, scheduling, and completion of care.

Our practice provides complex periodontal, implant, grafting, and multidisciplinary treatment. The right candidate must be comfortable discussing comprehensive treatment plans and significant financial investments while making patients feel informed, cared for, and confident in their decisions.

What You’ll Do

• Meet one-on-one with patients following their consultations to review treatment recommendations, fees, scheduling, and next steps
• Present complex and high-value treatment plans clearly and confidently
• Discuss financial arrangements and collect required deposits
• Build trust with patients and help them work through questions or barriers to moving forward with treatment
• Own the follow-up process for patients with unscheduled treatment
• Maintain an organized pipeline of treatment presented, accepted, scheduled, and completed
• Work proactively to keep the doctor's surgical schedule productive
• Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment with referring dentists and specialists
• Communicate with referring offices to ensure seamless treatment sequencing
• Maintain accurate treatment plans, notes, financial documentation, and patient communication
• Monitor treatment acceptance and scheduling goals
• Participate in morning huddles and team meetings
• Identify problems, take ownership, and follow through without needing constant direction

Who We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate:

• Has previous dental treatment coordination experience
• Experience in periodontics, oral surgery, implants, prosthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, or another specialty practice is strongly preferred
• Has experience presenting comprehensive or high-value treatment plans
• Is comfortable discussing fees and financial arrangements
• Has exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
• Is warm and empathetic while also confident and direct
• Is extremely organized and consistent with follow-up
• Takes ownership and does not allow patients or tasks to fall through the cracks
• Thrives in a high-performing, fast-paced practice
• Is comfortable being accountable to measurable goals
• Is polished and professional when communicating with patients and referring doctors
• Wants to grow professionally and contribute to the growth of the practice

Success in this position means patients understand their treatment and feel confident moving forward. Treatment is followed up on consistently, the doctor's schedule remains productive, referring offices receive excellent communication, and outstanding cases never disappear because someone forgot to follow up.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday. This is an in-office position in Chevy Chase, Maryland .

Experience

Required: Dental office experience and experience communicating directly with patients.

Strongly Preferred: 2+ years of treatment coordination experience, particularly presenting comprehensive or high-value dental treatment.
