The Insurance Verification Coordinator is responsible for verifying all patient benefits prior to the patient's first scheduled appointment.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Verify patient eligibility and benefits
• Update proper patient demographics and insurance information
• Collect and confirm patient sensitive data such as ID and Insurance cards from patient charts
• Run daily reports corresponding with patient data
• Respond to questions from insurance companies and patients
• Will be cross trained to handle all functions of benefit checking and Precertification
• Other projects as assigned by management

• Flexibility as it relates to schedule, responsibilities and priorities
• Strong organizational skills
• The ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year in administrative experience in a medical office preferred
