About the Role
Empire Financial is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to work with businesses throughout the local market. You’ll meet directly with business owners, managers, and HR professionals to provide supplemental insurance benefits for their employees while developing new accounts and maintaining client relationships. Previous insurance experience is not required. We provide comprehensive training, hands-on field development, and support throughout the licensing process.
What You’ll Do
- Build relationships with local businesses and decision-makers
- Meet face-to-face with business owners, managers, and HR professionals
- Present supplemental insurance benefit options
- Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, and networking
- Maintain and support existing client relationships
- Manage your territory and schedule
Compensation & Opportunity
This is a 1099 independent contractor position with commission-only compensation.
- Average annual earnings: $80,000–$200,000+
- Residual income
- Monthly bonuses and quarterly incentives

Individual earnings vary based on performance and sales results.
Training & Requirements
No previous insurance experience is required. We provide sales and product training, hands-on field training, ongoing coaching, and licensing support.
A Life & Health insurance license is required before meeting with clients. Licensing expenses are eligible for reimbursement after becoming active.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Full-time availability
