Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students facing emotional and behavioral challenges, utilizing therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain consistent communication with collaborating physicians and educational staff to report on student progress, assess needs, and address any significant concerns that may arise.

• Document clinical interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring all records are up-to-date and comply with privacy regulations and organizational policies.

• Coordinate with families and support systems to provide guidance and resources that promote student resilience and positively impact their academic and personal growth.

• Engage in continuous assessment and crisis intervention to support students during critical moments, addressing their emotional and behavioral issues effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents, each presenting unique emotional and behavioral challenges. This demographic often experiences stressors related to academic pressures, social interactions, and family dynamics. Your role will focus on delivering empathic support, equipping students with coping strategies, and advocating for their mental health within the educational environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• Minimum of three years of experience working in an outpatient setting, demonstrating a firm understanding of clinical practices.

• Competency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and strong technical skills in word processing, and spreadsheet applications.

• Ability to work independently while also enjoying collaboration with healthcare teams, showcasing a self-directed and organized approach to workload management.

• Previous experience working within a school system or with a pediatric population is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
