Document Management, Training, and Exercises Analyst Department of Water Resources Classification: ANALYST II Salary: $6,031.00 - $7,547.00 per month Job Type: Permanent Intermittent (eligible for 1,500 hours per calendar year) Work Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid telework) Final Filing Date: 6/2/2026 Duties Supports Emergency Preparedness Branch activities in program, project, contract, and resource management; document development and maintenance; training and exercises; and cost recovery. Works cooperatively with others; maintains consistent and predictable attendance; exercises good judgment; possesses strong written and oral communication skills; supports policy, procedures, and instructions on emergency preparedness, response, and recovery; and stays abreast of best practices. Minimum Requirements Minimum qualifications are outlined in the Class Specification for ANALYST II. Desirable Qualifications Knowledge and/or experience in Contract Management (contracts, task orders, invoices, deliverables). Document Development and Maintenance (planning, content development, monitoring, tracking, analysis). Communications and Coordination (planning, organizing, controlling). Training and Exercises (logistics, planning, implementation, conducting). Research and Procedures Development. Working with Internal and External Agencies. Independent work (analysis, research, writing). Materials Management (logistics, coordination, communication, tracking). Special Requirements Willingness to work outside normal business hours, including periodic overnight stays throughout California. Successful completion of all safety training related to the functions of the job. Contributions to an inclusive, safe, and secure work environment; essential regular attendance.
