Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are a small, family-owned manufacturing company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the company's day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on role working closely with company leadership and supporting the financial needs of the business. Job may be titled Accounting Manager or Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, cash disbursements, and bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate payroll records and related filings.
• Monitor customer accounts, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Process vendor invoices, payments, and maintain vendor records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support inventory, job costing, and other accounting activities related to manufacturing operations.
• Prepare information and schedules for the company's CPA, tax filings, and year-end financial reporting.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records and assist management with accounting-related questions and analysis.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a small business or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR, and financial reporting.
• Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Ability to work independently, handle confidential information, and manage competing priorities.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
