Credit Administration Officer

Credit Administration Officer We are a well‑established California bank that has been in operation for over 100 years. Job Responsibilities Oversee the bank’s lending function, formulating loan policies and procedures. Review and approve loan submissions within lending authority and assist loan officers with questions regarding loan products, structuring, evaluating and granting new commercial loans, and providing solutions for loan requests. Provide timely responses (within 24 hours) to branch loan approval requests. Participate in Credit Administration meetings and Large Borrower meetings as a member of the Lending Committee. Review and recommend loan requests above approved lending authority. Provide instructional and mentoring advice to loan officers and lending staff on proper structuring, analysis, pricing, and documentation of proposed and/or existing loans/credits. Set a standard for loan officers that encourages decision‑making through positive criticism and training. Attend Board of Directors meetings on behalf of Credit Administration for report presentation and Q&A feedback. Monitor and resolve the bank’s past‑due, matured, classified, and/or non‑performing loans; serve as primary liaison with attorneys for loan documentation.
