Legal Counsel - Project Finance
Navitas Resourcing Group
We're engaged on a new Legal Counsel search for a well-capitalised renewable energy developer with a large and active solar pipeline. Backed by a major infrastructure PE firm, the business operates at high transaction volume — this is a role for a lawyer who thrives under pace and wants real deal impact.
The role
- Lead legal work across capital markets, tax equity, construction loans, and project finance
- Support and increasingly own M&A transactions as the business scales
- Manage multiple contracts simultaneously in a fast-moving, high-volume environment
- Report to the Associate General Counsel; work closely with a collaborative senior legal team
What we're looking for
- 5–8 years of experience in project finance; solar financing background strongly preferred
- In-house or law firm background both welcome
- Wind and battery storage experience a positive but not required
- Comfortable committing to 4 days per week in downtown Houston
- Able to manage competing priorities and move quickly without sacrificing quality
