Project Manager (Facade) Rand Engineering & Architecture, DPCis an employee‑owned Manhattan‑based firm founded in1987 that designs, specifies, and administers restoration, upgrade, and adaptive re‑use programs on behalf of owners, managers, and co‑op and condo boards. Medical, dental, and company‑sponsored vision coverage 401(k) with company match Long‑term disability and life insurance Transit and parking benefits On‑site exercise room and wellness perks such as yoga classes Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities Employee referral incentives RAND Certified Project Management Program Vibrant culture with team events, celebrations, and holiday parties Responsibilities Manage various project types including facade, roofing, and FISP projects Execute and/or assist on multiple projects in all phases, from investigation to close‑out, within budget Coordinate architects, engineers, and designers to maintain quality with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills Conduct design problem‑solving, documentation, and field observations for small projects independently with input from senior team members Prepare project documents, including meeting minutes, field reports, investigation reports, cost estimates, and project timelines Maintain positive client relationships by attending meetings with clients, contractors, and consultants; ensure adherence to project workplans Proactively communicate issues to Project Architect, Project Engineer, Sr. Project Manager, or Team Leader Anticipate and troubleshoot project‑specific problems, participating in solution development and implementation Stay current on NewYork City building codes and historic building codes Spend 25%‑75% of the week in the field Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s in Architecture or Civil Engineering 5+ years of experience managing individual workload and negotiating competing priorities NewYork experience required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Mastery in estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, construction observation, client relationship, and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD Strong interpersonal communication, organization, and leadership skills; ability to train and monitor others for quality and completeness Employment: Full‑time Pay range: $80,000 – $95,000 USD per year (Office) Rand Engineering & Architecture, DPC is a NewYork City‑based engineering and architecture firm, independently owned and led by licensed professionals since1987.
