Job Details Job Location: East St. Louis Clinic - East St Louis, IL 62205 Salary Range: $37,000.00 - $40,000.00 Salary/year As a Medical Billing Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and processing healthcare billing information, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all transactions. You will work closely with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure proper reimbursement for services rendered. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; with additional education or certification in medical billing/coding Previous experience in medical billing or a related field preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare billing procedures. Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
