Billing Clerk (Full-time) (St. Louis, MO)

Overview Billing Clerk – Creve Coeur, Missouri (St. Louis Area). This is a full-time, in-office position located at the St. Louis-area headquarters (relocating from Clayton to Creve Coeur on August 1, 2026). Responsibilities Answer client billing questions professionally and courteously. Report directly to the Director of Administration on billing-related matters. Contact clients regarding outstanding balances and trust account replenishments as directed by the Director of Administration or attorneys. Respond promptly to client phone calls and emails regarding invoices and billing questions. Ensure the accuracy of payments, deposits, and billing transactions. Record client expenses within the firm's billing software. Assist with preparing invoices, applying payments, processing credit card payments, recording client payments, and sending invoices via mail and email. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, mailings, calendaring, and telephone communications. Maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional customer service. Qualifications College degree preferred. Prior billing, accounting, bookkeeping, banking, or payment processing experience preferred. Experience handling cash, payments, or financial transactions. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Typing speed of approximately 45 WPM or higher. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
