Job title - Business Development Portfolio Analyst Location - Austin, TX | Chicago, IL | Denver, CO (Centennial) | Minneapolis, MN | or Muscatine, IA Job type - Hybrid Requisition ID - 11325 The Business Development Portfolio Analyst will support business development activities across the Energy Market, reporting directly to the Energy Market Leader. The successful candidate will partner with the Market Leader, Growth Leaders, and Client Service Managers (CSMs), and Inside Sales Managers (ISMs) to support client engagement, opportunity management and strategic business development initiatives that contribute to market growth. \n

What You Will Be Doing:

Analyze market trends to identify potential business opportunities, maintain forward-looking solicitation calendar, and support Energy Market growth strategies. Support CSMs with account planning, capture strategies, go/no-go intel gathering, and client engagement. Support CSMs by building and maintaining opportunity pipelines using CRM and market intelligence tools, identify data gaps, and support accurate sales forecasts. Support CSMs with go/no-go documentation and Risk Management Committee (RMC) presentations. Support CSMs with proposal opportunity number and folder setup, RFP downloads, and proposal formatting, scope/fee proposal development, and interview preparations. Coordinate with technical delivery teams to ensure proposal delivery timelines are on schedule; client satisfaction is achieved and repeat business opportunities continue. Track and report on BD performance metrics, BD return on investment, and progress toward Energy Market goals. Support the preparation and coordination of contracts, master services agreements, teaming agreements, and subconsultant agreements using established company templates. Compile information and coordinate internal reviews, approvals, and execution with the appropriate parties. Support conference planning by preparing meeting intelligence, tracking leads, and coordinating follow-up actions. Travel as required. Competencies:

Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Energy Market Team. Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines, appointments, and projects effectively. Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively on a team ensuring success. Ability to meet deadlines. Strong writing, editing, and presentation-development skills, including the ability to organize complex technical and business information into clear, concise, and visually effective materials. Detail- and results-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of assignments, anticipate business development needs, solve problems, and follow through with limited supervision. Adaptable and open to learning new processes, data sources, and technologies. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with appropriate care and discretion. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, economics, marketing, communications, data analytics, or a related field. A power or energy focus is a plus. Five or more years of relevant experience in the energy industry or in business development, market research, proposal development, or a related role within the architecture, engineering, construction, utility, or professional services industries. Understanding of engineering firm structure and energy markets, including stakeholder management, utilities, renewables, capital programs, procurement practices, and the regulatory environment. Demonstrated experience, supporting business development activities. Intermediate-level expertise in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and other common office software packages, including CRM systems and pipeline-management tools. \n

$108,200 - $142,800 a year (Salary range for IL, CO, and MN locations) Stanley Consultants is committed to maintaining transparency in our hiring process, including providing information about compensation. The starting salary for the successful candidate in this position is competitive and will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications and experience, geographic location, internal equity, company policy and practices.
