Accounts Receivable Specialist

Our client is a manufacturing company. They seek a temp Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their Saddle Brook, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Process cash applications and perform regular account reconciliations
- Investigate invoice discrepancies, customer deductions, and payment variances
- Identify high-risk accounts and assess potential bad debt exposure
- Resolve billing and pricing issues for large and complex customer accounts
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to address account and payment matters
- Communicate with customers by email and phone to resolve outstanding balances and billing questions
- Monitor accounts receivable activity and follow up on open items to support timely collections
- Provide general accounting support, including journal entries and subledger maintenance, as needed
Requirements
- 3-5 years of AR experience
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify and address issues
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with SAP ERP systems
- Familiarity with reporting and reconciliation processes
- Strong attention to detail
