Job/Role Description

This role supports senior-level data analysis, governance, and reporting to drive enterprise data initiatives and business intelligence objectives.

This position will lead meetings with internal customers to determine data needs and ensure clear understanding of requirements.

This position will perform requirements mapping and documentation to support engineering partners and facilitate successful data project execution.

This position will oversee metadata registration and data governance activities to maintain data quality, lineage, and compliance.

Perform configuration of data quality rules and execute comprehensive testing to validate data accuracy and consistency.

Coordinate ETL pipelines testing across multiple areas and validate results to confirm reliable data integration and transformation processes.

Provide strong communication and coordination with business stakeholders, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to define data requirements necessary to accomplish key tasks and projects.

Utilize Python and SQL to fulfill core senior data analyst responsibilities, including complex data analysis, building dashboards, and developing detailed reports.

Ensure high quality data service delivery through proactive responsiveness to data issues, thorough validation, and adherence to service levels and improvement initiatives.

Identify opportunities for improvement in data quality processes, governance tools, and reporting capabilities.

Accurately log and document data requirements, mappings, governance activities, and testing outcomes in appropriate tracking systems.

Report key performance metrics and insights to management to support data-driven decision making.

Required Qualifications

Prior experience in a senior data analyst or equivalent role within large enterprise environments

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, scripting, and automation

Demonstrated experience leading stakeholder meetings, requirements gathering, mapping, and producing high-quality documentation

Hands-on experience with metadata registration, data governance activities, and configuring data quality rules with testing

Experience coordinating and validating ETL pipeline testing across diverse systems and functional areas

Proven ability to build dashboards and generate comprehensive reporting to support business needs

Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively bridge internal customers, data engineers, and technical teams regarding data requirements

Well versed in data analysis best practices, root cause analysis for data issues, and continuous process improvement

Previous experience in collaborative, cross-functional team environments preferred

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and manage competing priorities effectively

Highly self-motivated and directed

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

Keen attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality

Strong customer service orientation when engaging with internal stakeholders
