Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a meaningful contract assignment as a dedicated professional serving students through the 2026-2027 academic year. This rewarding opportunity, beginning in August, spans nearly ten months and offers the chance to impact young lives in a supportive school environment located in the greater Summerville, SC area.

The successful candidate will utilize expertise in school psychology and/or special education to assist students with a range of needs, collaborating closely with educational teams to foster positive learning outcomes. This full-time position provides a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with 37.5 working hours per week, following a traditional academic calendar.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist License required
• Prior experience as a school psychologist or special education teacher strongly preferred
• Ability to perform onsite work throughout the assignment (remote/hybrid work not available)
• Adept at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement educational and behavioral interventions
• Skilled in conducting student assessments, creating actionable reports, and supporting the special education process

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students
• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), contribute to eligibility meetings, and provide input on educational programming
• Deliver direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative support for students and staff
• Work proactively with families, faculty, and outside agencies to support student success
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation per district policies and state requirements
