Senior AccountantTatum by Randstad is working with a client in the eCommerce industry that is in need of a Senior Accountant for a 4-6 month contract opportunity. The company is on a hybrid schedule (in the office 4 days and remote 1 day). The person taking on this interim Senior Accountant opportunity would be handling the following duties:ResponsibilitiesAssist with month end close duties that would consist of the following: balance sheet reconciliations; journal entry preparation; prepare supporting schedules for the 10K and 10Q, as well as assisting with footnote preparation.Assist with the preparation and filing of business license taxes, sales & use taxes, property tax, and gross receipts; and monitor the filing calendar and remittance deadlines.Responsible for preparation of end to end stock plan platform and reconcile it the general ledger and payroll records.Ensure reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules have the appropriate backup to be SOX compliant.QualificationsBachelor's in accounting or finance is required.CPA or MBA is desired.4+ years of month end close experience in a publicly traded company is required.Prior experience working in a SOX environment is required.Prior experience with ASC 718 (stock based compensation) is required.Prior experience with Oracle, NetSuite, or D365 is desired and intermediate excel skills are required.Excellent communications skills and strong attention to detail is required.Apply to this interim Senior Accountant opportunity today!!
