RN – Med/Surg (Contract)

Location: California 95490
Pay: $1,865 – $2,095/week
Shift: Night Shift, 12-hour shifts (1900–0730), 36–48 hours/week

Position Summary

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process and established standards

• Coordinate care, supervise support staff, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Administer medications and treatments safely

• Collaborate with care team and educate patients/families

• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care

• Delegate tasks and supervise support staff

Requirements

• Education: BSN – Preferred

• Experience: Acute care experience – Preferred

• Licensure/Certifications:

  • Active California RN License – Required

  • BLS Certification – Required

  • ACLS Certification – Required

  • PALS Certification – Required

Additional Details

• No call or floating required

• Weekend coverage as needed

• Documentation System: Cerner ( experience preferred—please indicate )

• Medication System: Pyxis

• No specific scrub color
