Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Provide various therapeutic services including individual, couple, family, and group therapy, utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Engage in crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring their immediate safety and well-being.

• Keep detailed and secure client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment data, adhering to legal and ethical standards of mental health care.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of clients’ well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources available to support their journeys.

• Pursue ongoing professional development through training and workshops to remain informed about best practices and advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve adults, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Engaging with diverse populations, you will tailor your approach to each individual or group’s unique circumstances and cultural backgrounds, ensuring sensitive and inclusive care.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist in the state of Tennessee, such as LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Proven clinical assessment and diagnostic skills are essential.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a mental health counseling role is required.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and families.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
