Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical support for end users across desktop, server, mobile, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Microsoft technologies, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently while delivering excellent customer service. This role is 100% on‑site in Indianapolis and this is a contract role. No C2C. Responsibilities Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and user account issues Administer and support Windows Server environments Manage and maintain Active Directory users, groups, permissions, and Group Policies Support Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365/O365 environments Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktop operating systems and applications Install, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, and related hardware/software Manage user onboarding/offboarding including account setup, access provisioning, and equipment deployment Document support tickets, resolutions, and technical procedures Collaborate with IT team members on infrastructure upgrades, projects, and security initiatives Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software assets Ensure compliance with company security policies and best practices Required Qualifications 2+ years of experience in desktop or technical support roles Strong knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems Hands‑on experience with Active Directory administration Experience with Microsoft Exchange and/or Microsoft 365 (O365) Experience with desktop imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting Knowledge of mobile device management (MDM) solutions such as Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, or similar Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN connectivity Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests #J-18808-Ljbffr Lucid Services Group
