About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Power Supply to provide executive leadership for its power supply portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for resource planning, wholesale power strategy, market operations, and contract management, ensuring a cost-effective and resilient power supply that aligns with the company's long-term strategic and financial objectives. This role requires a deep expertise in wholesale power markets, resource planning, and utility portfolio management, as well as a strong background in risk management, hedging, and financial modeling. The Vice President will also be the senior advisor on wholesale power matters, working closely with executive leadership to evaluate market opportunities, contractual relationships, and industry developments. Candidates for the Vice President of Power Supply position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in power supply, energy markets, trading, or resource planning, and at least 5 years in senior leadership or executive roles, is required. Experience in organized wholesale electricity markets and with electric cooperatives is also preferred. The role demands executive-level leadership, negotiation, and strategic decision-making abilities, as well as the capacity to translate complex market and technical concepts for executive and board audiences. The Vice President will lead a team and must be prepared for an executive role that may involve travel and is focused on outcomes rather than hours worked.
