Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (Home Health / Early Intervention)

Locations Covered: Monroe, NC, Indian Trail, NC & Waxhaw, NC Job Type: Full-time Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work Setting: Home Health / Early Intervention - visits to patient homes, ABA clinics, daycare centers, schools, and community locations

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide therapy services to children primarily aged 0-3 years, and occasionally up to 8 years, with a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and articulation disorders.

This is a field-based role requiring travel within the service area, with mileage reimbursed at $0.30 per mile.

Responsibilities

· Conduct patient assessments and evaluations

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

· Provide therapy services in both individual and group settings

· Collaborate with occupational therapists, families, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

· Deliver therapy sessions at homes, ABA clinics, daycare centers, schools, and community locations

· Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies

· Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices

Qualifications

· Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

· Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience, independent clinical practice preferred

· Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

· Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload

· Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice

Licenses and Certifications

· Current North Carolina SLP License (Required)

· Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
